Tables: reference columns from the grid + Excel-style cell expand. Two UI follow-ups to v2.1’s reference columns, both grid-only (no engine/schema change). (1) A “Link to another tab…” item in the column-header menu opens a dialog to pick a source tab + column and turn the column into a cross-tab reference — the shipped validation / draft-op / ReferenceCell pipeline does the rest, so references are now creatable without the assistant. Retyping away from reference clears the link. (2) Long text/url cells get an expander (⌘↵ save, Esc cancel): because the grid virtualizes on a fixed row height, the full value opens in a portal popover instead of growing the row — no reflow, no virtualization fight. Shipped after a 2-reviewer adversarial audit; fixes in the same release (Esc-cancel now truly cancels; re-pointing a reference refreshes its dropdown; a rejected op no longer wedges autosave).
